Happy Birthday, Jenny McCarthy
As any celebrity-oriented website will likely note today, the model, actress, mother and author turns 38 today. What they might fail to mention though, is the fact that there are 118 Jenny McCarthy cards in the Beckett.com database, with values ranging from $2 to $250. Her most valuable card includes a denim swatch and an autograph from the adult model turned activist. The 2005-06 Topps Gold rookie card featured here is serial numbered to 99 and carries a high value of $15.
Corey Haim’s career also reflected on cardboard
Actor Corey Haim, who was found dead of an accidental overdose on Wednesday, appeared in a pair of Upper Deck sports card sets last year as a tribute to his role in “Lucas” — a film where he played an unlikely football player.
